How Great Is Our God! We Celebrate the Homecoming of Clay Adams. While our sorrows are many and our hearts are broken, we know that the Lord beckoned him home, and he is healed at last after a long and chronic struggle with acute reoccurring pneumonia.
Praise God for His Mercy and Grace.
Clay was born and raised in Fayetteville and graduated from Fayette County High School in 1990. He then attended Young Harris College in the Georgia mountains that he loved. He worked for Delta Air Lines for many years, in coastal South Carolina, and then at Harrahs in North Carolina, near his home in Blue Ridge, Georgia.
Clay was very witty, bright, and quick with any line of trivia or a joke. He was a quiet, friendly man, who enjoyed the solitude of the mountains and the serenity they offered. He loved dogs. He was tender spirited and very devoted to our mother and her needs. We will miss him greatly but know his healing is complete and his welcoming party in heaven was Grand!
Clay was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Adams; grandparents in heaven, Bill and Bessie Riley and Evie Lou and Huntsie Adams. He is survived by his mother, Madge Adams; sister, Connie (Eddie) Baldwin; brother, Barry (Amy) Adams of Senoia; and nieces and nephew, Olivia, Natalie, Katrina Korzyniowski, and Jason Baldwin.
